Here we have listed a collection of books that you may
find useful. Try to keep in mind that medical knowledge is always changing
and expanding and that no book will be "state-of-the-art" for long. We have tried to include
only books from reliable authors and publishers, but we can not screen each book
completely. Nothing can replace the knowledge you can obtain by speaking
with your pediatrician, so if you have a question about something you read in
one of these books, please give us a call. More books will be added
periodically.

(feeding, safety, etc.), to development, to common symptoms and
illnesses that you can expect to encounter. |

self-explanatory. This book covers symptoms from birth through
Adolescence, most of which is also covered in the Caring for Your...

 | Guide to Your Child's Nutrition - Again, much of
this information is included in the Caring for Your... series.
It provides very reasonable and effective advice on how to deal with
nutritional problems and conflicts with your child, in addition to lots
of useful general nutritional information. |

 | What to Expect When You're Expecting, What to Expect the First
Year, and
What to Expect the Toddler Years, by Eisenberg, et al - These
books discuss ways to prepare for pregnancy, childbirth, and the raising of
your children through the preschool years. They are organized
chronologically and are very good at helping new parents distinguish between
old wives' tales and actual pediatric fact.
