We at Catalina Pediatrics have been deeply saddened by recent events and acknowledge that racism not only exists in our society, but is detrimental to child and adolescent health.
We stand with the American Academy of Pediatrics in the assertion that unraveling racism requires a great investment from all of us. We want our families to know that we are here for you - and welcome conversations on race and racism as well as suggestions as to how we can best support you as parents.
Knowing this is a difficult (but necessary) subject to discuss with children, we have compiled a list of helpful resources. If you have any recommendations to add to this list, we welcome your ideas.

And in doing that, we want you and your family’s experience to be remarkable at Catalina Pediatrics. We are committed to serving the health care needs of your infants, children, and young adults.
