Our Pediatricians

Catalina Pediatrics was established in 1975 and has since expanded to include a total of five pediatricians: Drs. Steve Goldberg, Janel Lloyd, Curtis Johnson, Christine Forgione and Patricia Eck. All of our doctors are board-certified (BC) and fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).

Our Pediatricians: Team Members

I grew up far from the beautiful desert mountains, in the rolling hills of New Jersey with summers spent at the “Jersey shore”.  I traveled north to complete my undergraduate education at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and then returned close to home to pursue my postgraduate certification in premedical sciences at Columbia University in NYC, while working on various national pediatric research projects. This led me to medical school at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where I went on to complete my pediatric residency and served an additional year as chief resident. Following my training I was on asked to stay on an associate professor of pediatrics and associate program director for the residency program.

At Georgetown I met my husband, an orthopedic spine surgeon for the US Army. In 2015, after having 2 amazing boys in Washington, DC, the Army packed our bags for El Paso, Texas. After seven years in the borderland, several overseas deployments, 2 beautiful baby girls and with a new found love for the desert, we elected to relocate our family to Tucson.

I am excited to join Catalina Pediatrics to continue my career in pediatrics. My areas of interest include newborn medicine, nutrition and dermatology. I am an international board certified lactation consultant and am pursuing my certification in obesity medicine. As a mother of 4 young children, I know firsthand the joys and challenges of parenthood and how important it is to have a healthy and happy child. I look forward to working with our patients in achieving this goal.

Outside of medicine and my family, I enjoy travel, cooking, organizing, exercise, playing the piano and learning to play to guitar.
